FAQ

We are shipping the most innovative board to hit the skateboard market ever! To purchase our RevDeck give us you name, mailing address, telephone number and billing information for fast delivery. We can accept Mastercard/Visa/American Express.

Q: Is the Rev Deck really that much lighter?

Yes! The Rev Deck is about 20% lighter than a standard wood deck. That’s about a half a pound! This makes the board more responsive and easier to “Ollie”. For example, some of our riders claim “Manuels” are easier to control because they’re not pushing around as much weight.

Q: Will I notice improved “pop”?

Yes! Since graphics is much better “spring” material than wood, your Rev Deck will have a “snap-like” response when you “Ollie”, and the “pop” lasts for the life of the board.

Q: Will I notice improved performance?

Virtually all our rider experience improved performance for the lighter weight and huge “pop”! (As one of our European rider’s puts it: “psycho pop”. See martin Haavde)

Q: Is the Rev Deck unbreakable, indestructible, and willing to take anything I can give it?

Absolutely not!!! But since most Rev Deck riders are impressed at how tough and durable the board is, rumors are going around about indestructibility. We suggest if you’re over 150lbs., or are just plain hard on board, to get your heavy use blue board (it has a blue outline on the bottom Revolution lettering on the stickers.) It’s a little stiffer than the standard Rev Deck and only slightly heavier. Still way lighter than wood.

Q: Does the Rev Deck chip, crack, warp or delaminate like a wood deck?

Our board is very resistant to these problems. The Rev Deck has a high wear bottom and edge surface, which protects it from the usual wear and tear, chipping, cracking and delaminating. Since the board is made of carbon fiber, it is unaffected by moisture, and therefore, will not warp like wood.

Q: How long will the pop last?

The “pop” lasts for the life of the board.

Q: What size does the Rev Deck come in?

We have two models to choose from. Our street board, which is 31 _ inches long by 8 inches wide, and our Vert board which is 32 _ inches long by 81/8 inches wide. Riders that are used to narrower boards (for example 7 _ inches, 7 _ inches, etc.) usually find that our 8-inch board flip faster and also gives a bigger surface to land on.

Q: What board does your Pro rider Tas Pappas ride?

Our Vert board is Tas’s custom design, which he rides in all competitions and practice sessions.

Q: Will the pockets on the bottom of the board get hung up when I ride street?

No! The bottom pockets do not “hang up” on board slides or other tricks that contact the bottom of the board. The purpose of the pockets is to reduce the weight of the Rev Deck.

Q: How long will the Rev Deck last me?

This is the hard question to answer for individual riders. It depends on the type of rider you are. Our general rule is 4 to 6 times longer than wood. On the other hand, lot of our riders are limited by their wood decks. In other words, they would ride harder but their wood decks can’t take it! These riders quickly realize the Rev Deck can take a lot more, and start riding a lot harder. If this sound like you, or if you like to do big stairs, big air, “rock and pop” and “disasters” or if you’re a big rider (over 150 lbs) or just hard on your board in general, We suggest you get our “heavy use blue board” (see unbreakable question above.)
